Jimmy Choo is an iconic luxury lifestyle brand and is defined by an empowered sense of glamour and a confident sense of style. Creative Director Sandra Choi was born in the UK on the Isle of Wight, and educated in Hong Kong. Choi relocated to London as a teenager to finish her secondary school education and during this time, she went to work with her uncle, Jimmy Choo, who was then a couture shoemaker based in the East End. Choi attended the prestigious Central St Martins School where she studied for a degree in Fashion Design whilst continuing work as Choo’s protégé.
The Jimmy Choo Men’s collection was launched for Autumn Winter 2011 fusing modern British style with luxurious Italian craftsmanship. The Men’s collections evolved to offer a versatile range of shoes, bags, belts and small leather goods, resonating with the Jimmy Choo Man’s effortlessly cool, rock ‘n’ roll attitude with a hint of Mayfair playboy. The first flagship Men’s store opened on Mayfair’s prestigious Dover Street in 2013. Expanding the lifestyle offering the first Men’s fragrance, Jimmy Choo MAN, was launched in 2014.
Jimmy Choo has a store network encompassing 167 stores in 35 countries and is present in the most prestigious department and specialty stores worldwide. In October 2014 Jimmy Choo PLC was publicly listed on the London Stock Exchange with the ticker CHOO.
