Chopova Lowena is a London-based womenswear brand founded by Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena, who graduated from the MA Fashion at Central Saint Martins in 2017 with the Samsung Fashion and Design Fund and the L'Oréal Professional Bursary. The label is known for its harmonious juxtapositions, subtly combining modernity and nostalgia, luxury and kitsch, craftsmanship and humourthrough their signature layers of brightly printed mesh and Bulgarian pleats in wool and nylon.
Chopova Lowena will be present during London Fashion Week Men's as part of 1 Granary's VOID project. The exhibition, on display at the BFC Showspace, presents the work of six independent designers through the eyes of six prominent creative directors and their teams. Creative director Ben Kelway and stylist Eliza Conlon played with Chopova Lowena's bricolage of cultures and styles through images that convey a sharp nostalgia.
