Paolina Russo is the 23-year-old Central Saint Martins alum gearing up to take over the fashion industry with her nostalgic knits. Recipient of the esteemed L'Oreal Professionnel Young Talent Award, her graduate collection entitled "I Forgot Home" was a love letter to her hometown. After doing a short work placement at Wales Bonner, she took on the coveted couture internship in 2016 at Maison Martin Margiela under the creative direction of John Galliano. Galliano was inspired by Russo's work and aesthetic citing her as a major inspiration in a conversation with Tim Blanks at the BOF "Voices" conference. Russo is going on to study the fashion MA at Central Saint Martins in the fall while continuing to build her brand.
